Course Description
The most complete web design course on WooCommerce, at the end of this course you will be able to create your own eCommerce websites or charge clients for creating their eCommerce websites. We will be building an eCommerce store from scratch with WooCommerce. This course is focused on teaching web development fundamentals best practices. Unlike other WooCommerce courses, you will learn here how to properly plan for an eCommerce store, how to select a professional website template and theme to work with - install pre-designed demo websites, properly do eCommerce marketing including setting up a facebook store and google merchant - google shopping. As we build this website, we will be covering search engine optimisation (SEO) elements including: on-page SEO, technical SEO and off-page SEO. The course will cover how to do web-design with SEO in mind, covering the technical and on-page elements of SEO in parallel to web design.

Curriculum
Section-1: eCommerce Masterclass
In this lecture we start the masterclass with planning for the eCommerce store we are going to build. We start the planning stage with selecting a good hosting provider, then we discuss product research - how to find the ideal product to sell on your online store. In this lecture we also introduce the project steps and phases we will be following: (1) We will start with a more detailed planning and product research video, (2) then do web design - selecting a website theme and creating actual website, (3) connecting web master tools such as google analytics, (4) connecting our marketing platforms such as google shopping and facebook commerce and (5) off page SEO and link-building. We approach web design from a holistic point, integrated with digital marketing and SEO - Search Engine Optimisation.

Section-2: eCommerce Masterclass
In this lecture we cover product research from a dropshipping perspective. Assuming you are creating an online store that can sell anything, we look it to how to find the right product to sell that are popular on Aliexpress. We will be using Aliexpress to find the products we will be selling in our online store. We also cover key-word planning in this lecture. Key-word planning, is the most crucial part of web-design as it will guide our on-page and some of the technical SEO variables that we need to finalise at this stage. We look for the right key-words to focus our entire SEO efforts and website on.
Section-3: eCommerce Masterclass
In this lecture we will be building the actual website. After planning, selecting what products we are going to sell and our focus keywords - we can now start to build the website. We start by registering a domain name, linked to the keyword for our business. We get a hosting package from domains and start by installing Wordpress from cPanel. We go through the process of designing our website, we install a theme perfect for eCommerce and style it to look professional for the product we will be selling. We create our business logo and favicon, and add it to the website - you will learn how to get a logo for you website in the most professional but affordable way. We also source our products from Aliexpress and add it to the website, we create the payment methods and ensure they are all woking and clients can checkout of the store. At the end of this lecture you will have a fully functional eCommerce store.

Section-4: eCommerce Masterclass
In this lecture we discuss why it is important to have a blog associated with your eCommerces store. We discuss and learn about how to do research for blogging and put together a blog that will help enrich the content on your website. Data shows most people make a purchase online after reading about a product on a bog - therefore blogging can be strategic part of eCommerce web design. We also create accounts for google search console and analytics - then connect them to the website we have built. We add google site kit to manage our webmaster tools from the Wordpress website directly. We create social media accounts for the business - we will continue working on these in the next lecture.
In this lecture we continue with out social media marketing lesson. After creating the social media accounts, we create a facebook commerce and instagram shop connected to our online store on WooCommerce. We also do the same for Google Merchant and google shopping. We create a google ads shopping campaign for the business - the best way to drive traffic to our website.
Section-5: eCommerce Masterclass
We complete our masterclass series by discussing one of the most important elements of SEO - off-page SEO and link-building. Building a website is 20% of the work done, the other 80% is what you do off-page to drive traffic to you website. Learn about link-building and how to increase domain of you website to drive organic traffic. In this lecture we also build a free website, that contains a back-link and show you how to get free real-estate on the internet for your link-building.
